with a go-ahead home run, helping the San Francisco Giants beat the
Colorado Rockies 5-2 on Tuesday night.
The Giants moved within four games of the National League West-leading San Diego Padres.
Buster Posey added a two-run double as the Giants won for the second time in six games. Freddy Sanchez had two hits and scored twice.
Melvin Mora hit a home run and Clint Barmes drove (BAR'-mehs) in a run for the Rockies, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
Jeremy Affeldt (4-3) blew his second consecutive save but earned his second win in a row after pitching the eighth. Colorado's Matt Belisle (6-5) gave up a run in his third consecutive appearance after not allowing a run in his previous 14.
