It was the first time the Avalanche lost consecutive games in regulation. Colorado was on an 8-0-1 run before losing in San Jose on Friday and then Vancouver last night.
Colorado coach Joe Sacco believes his team is showing signs of playing 11 of the last 13 games on the road.
The Avalanche will play the next three at home, starting with Phoenix on Wednesday. The Avalanche are 4-0-0 at the Pepsi Center this season.
