Mr. Bruce Springsteen, who's forever accommodating the little people, got cornered in a Wellington gym by the personal-trainer mom of Michael and Matthew Huber, members of the local kiddie rock band Odd Man Out. We can just picture it: "You have to see my boys play. They're the absolute best. You must come to their next gig." Springsteen, who frequents Wellington because his daughter is into horsies, asked for directions. But to his credit, he never showed. Fast-forward a few weeks to March 13, and who strolls up at Odd Man Out's appearance at the Green Market in Royal Palm Beach but The Boss himself. The band's members, ages 14 to 16, admitted they wouldn't have recognized the guy if not for their moms. They got their picture taken with him anyway. "We all knew he was famous and a rock star," guitarist Louis Johnson told The Palm Beach Post.
