
KWGN Television's Internship Program offers a diversified experience in a variety of fields enabling the student to learn the expectations of today's employers. It is a hands-on educational opportunity designed to give qualified students valuable experience and on-the-job training in any one of the following areas:
The guidelines for our Internship Program include:
* You must be at least 18 years old.
* You must be enrolled in an educational institution that provides sponsorship through
a cooperative education program and insures their students through their workmen's
compensation and/or liability insurance policy.
* You must receive credit hours from the educational institution based on hours
in training (between 12 and 20 hours/week) at KWGN-TV.
* You must have academic standing of Junior level or above, and a demonstrated interest in
broadcasting.
* You must understand that you will not receive any pay or remuneration from KWGN-TV.
* You must be able to commute at specified times to the station.
* You must have a positive, professional attitude.
