COLORADO SPRINGS - The end of the world is near at least according to one Colorado Springs woman who has spent quite a bit of money to notify everyone.
She's paid to advertise the news on bus benches around town.
The ad on the benches reads "Save the date: return of Christ, May 21, 2011."
Marie Exley paid for the ads with her own money after seeing a similar billboard in Texas. "It's basically by faith I'm going out there and putting myself out there and allowing people to think I'm crazy," Exley said. "I'm sure people in Noah's days thought he was crazy."
There are ten "save the date" bus benches around Colorado Springs. Each one cost about $1,200.
