Memorial Day plans washed out
Mother nature turned Memorial Day into a meteorlogical melt-down. Plans across the metro all went to hail. As in the pile of hail that covered Alameda near Havana this afternoon.

The yearly cermony at Ft.Logan National Cemetary was called off due to rain.

The Rockies game was delayed.

The Cherry Creek bike trail was flooded under three feet of fast moving water.

Two guys shooting skeet in the Weld County town of Eaton were hit by lightening.

And Nuggets fans lining up for last minute tickets got drenched as they waited in line.

The only silver lining of today's coulds was the the rain held off for the afternoon.

Antione Pratt was grilling out at Cherry Creek State Park.

"We were supposed to be a little more crowded than this, but my family got to wigging out about the rain, you know," he told us.
