Danette Randall shows us how to make Superchunk Super Bowl Cookies.
SUPERCHUNK SUPER BOWL COOKIES
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup softened unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup M&M's ( I used peanut)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 cup beer nuts
preheat oven to 350
In small bowl, combine flour, salt and baking soda. Set aside
In large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until smooth
Add in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Beat dough with electric mixer or by hand until smooth and creamy.
Fold in walnuts, M&M's, chocolate chunks and beer nuts
Drop by heaping tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheet
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Take out of oven and leave on baking sheet for 4-5 minutes Gently remove onto cooling rack or parchment paper. Let cool. ENJOY!
NOTE: These cookies spread a little when baking. Do not over bake, the middle will look a little undone while the edges are golden brown, this is perfect.
