From troubled Laborers trying to make their voices heard to those who revel in the last precious days of summer, Labor Day has a long and varied history. Born out of unrest and injustice, Labor Day is still used as a platform by workers striving for better rights and a better life. Auburn and the University of Southern California celebrate Labor Day with football
Dedicated to American strength and ingenuity, Labor Day is celebrated on the first Monday of every September. Originally held on a Tuesday in 1882, 1884 marked the beginning of the Monday tradition.
